Online couples counselling is a convenient, comfortable and flexible choice for couples.

All you need is any computer that has a camera and microphone, and also, that there is a good internet connection. We use the Zoom video platform.

An appointment is scheduled, then closer to the day, you will receive an email that has a link to Zoom. Instructions on how to log into Zoom will be in the appointment email.

Yes, our fees are set lower for online appointments as we don not have counselling room hire fees to add to the fee.

The short answer is yes. Even though there are some differences with in-person to online couples counselling, the similarities and benefits are well documented. Some couples do a mixture of in-person and online depending on their circumstances.

A surprising but significant benefit that we have observed over the past few years is the willingness of men to both attend and continue couples counselling.

The couple is in their own environment, so they are far more comfortable rather than attending a strange counselling room.

Another important observation that we see is that both people seem to have a bigger voice on their issues than when they are attending an in-person appointment. This adds a richness to the work that couples achieve.
